What the site does

Undertone Finder estimates your skin undertone (warm, cool, neutral or olive) and depth from a photo, and suggests colours, makeup shades and foundation undertones. The analysis runs in your browser. The site is free and needs no account.

Guidance, not professional advice

Results are estimates for colour and styling inspiration. Accuracy depends on lighting, camera, white balance, makeup, filters and other factors outside our control, so readings can differ between photos. Results are not medical, dermatological or cosmetic advice. Always patch-test new products and speak to a qualified professional about any skin concern.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and only with photos you have the right to use. In particular, you agree not to:

• analyse photos of other people without their permission;
• attempt to disrupt, overload or break the site or its security;
• scrape, copy or resell the site or its content in bulk, or pass it off as your own.

Your photos

Your photos stay on your device and are never uploaded to us, so we claim no rights over them. See our privacy policy for details.

Our content

The site’s design, text, palettes, graphics and logo belong to Undertone Finder. You may share links to the site and save or share your own result cards for personal use. Third-party components, such as the open-source Google MediaPipe face-landmark model, are used under their own licences.

Availability and changes

We may change, pause or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. The site relies on your browser’s features, and some features (such as the camera or face detection) may not work on every device.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Undertone Finder is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for purchases or decisions you make based on a result. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
